Lexie is an amazing dog! She is housebroke and fixed. She has papers and we have her blood line. We recently found out for some reason I started having severe allergic reactions to her. She comes with food, a kennel, water and food dishes, & collar. She is phenomenal with children. My son uses her as a pillow at night and my 14 month old is always playing with her.

Meet adorable Angus! This sweet brindle guy is about 4 years old and is being fostered in Houston, TX. Angus is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and micro-chipped. He is crate-trained, and is working on his leash manners. Angus is a cuddle bug, and loves to be loved on. He gets along well with other large dogs, but is curious about cats, so a home with older children, a female dog, and no cats is probably best for him. For more information on Angus, or to make him part of your family, please contact us at PLEASE NOTE: Adopters are only considered with a completed application. Please visit ... (Read More) to apply. Remember - Adoption is always the best option! If you can't help by adopting a homeless Bullmastiff, please consider making a donation to ABA Rescue Services. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-12-00551Brindle Dawg (male)

Bullmastiff Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Heartworm Positive

Brindle Dawg needs a new Home! My neighbor and I 'rescued' this awesome dog, (Brindle Dawg) from being abandoned and living on the streets and in the houses under construction in our neighborhood. As far as we know, he is about 4 years old, and other neighbors have confirmed seeing him in the subdivision as far back as that'|. He's a very interesting looking breed - the Vet thinks part bull mastiff and part sharpei (odd mix for sure'|) He's very good natured now, but at first he was very skittish and stand-offish. We believe he was abused and then abandoned. Makes my blood boil when I think of it! He's up to date on shots, but has ... (Read More)not yet been neutered - that was next. Now we've 'domesticated him' as best we can, but here's the challenge: since he's roamed free all his life, he does not do well being confined in any way. He eats through fences (yes, eats'|) and the one time we had him kenneled, he absolutely went berserk!!! Brindle believes that our yards and our neighborhood are his (which they rightfully are! It's Brindle's world, we're just living in it.) However, 'roaming dogs' are clearly against the City Ordinances, and a few of our neighbors don't like the idea of a 55# dog running free. Neither do we; we just haven't been able to figure out what to do with him yet! So, if you, or anyone you might know is a 'dog person' and you would like to invest some time and effort into this animal, we all believe he is totally salvageable, and will make a great pet. He would even do better inside a house, as long as his masters are nearby, and giving him some love and attention. Otherwise, Animal Control will pick him up, and we all pretty much know how that usually turns out! I'm sure there are rescue groups that work with A/C, but most likely it would not end well for Brindle Dawg, because of his inability to be caged. PLEASE spread this around as fast as possible, as time is running out. A/C has been called twice now, in the last 2 weeks, and once they get on the trail'|.well, you know. If you would like more information or would like to meet B-D, just give me a call/text or send me an email! THANKS!!! Lee Kirby 817-689-1470 (Less)

Bullmastiff    Age: Young Adult

This is Polly! She is a two year old Bullmastiff. She is spayed, UTD on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative, and looking for her forever home. We've been told she isn't good with small dogs, which means cats may be a problem for her, too, and little kids make her nervous. Interested in giving Polly a home? PIease Read Before Adopting a Bullmastiff in Texas
Bullmastiff Dogs can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. The Bullmastiff is a large, powerful dog related to the English Bulldog. Bullmastiffs are very loyal and devoted to their families. Bullmastiffs are very protective and make good guard dogs. A Bullmastiff is a good family pet and gets along well with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of its large size. Bullmastiffs need firm masters. Bullmastiffs need attention and to be treated like part of the family; they should not be left alone. Bullmastiffs may be lazy and not enjoy exercise but need a daily walk and should not be allowed to put on too much excess weight. A Bullmastiff can live in an apartment if it gets enough daily exercise.
