Bullmastiff Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

I have been trying to find a home for my puppy Tahoe. He is one year old and probably close to 100 lbs. He is a cane corso shepherd mix (we think). Right after we adopted Tahoe I became pregnant. He grew very fast and was too strong for me to walk so training is something he still needs to work on. Tahoe is rambunctious and craves attention. He loves people and is great with kids. He like to wrestle with our other dog but doesn't care much for dogs outside of our home. If he does take a liking to another dog he will lick their face and try to chase them around. He is a great jumper, he can hurdle just about anything! I believe that ... (Read More)with the right home and attentive owner he will become the best friend a person can have. Once he is used to you he will sit on your feet and beg to sleep in your bed. We love him very much and hope to find him the right home. So far everyone I have introduced him to has not worked out. He can sense we are going to give him up and will act out and scare the people we introduce him to. It is heartbreaking for us and I don't want to have to turn him over to the humane society. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. (Less)

The Bullmastiff was first bred to track down and catch poachers. Rather than attacking, a Bullmastiff will knock down an intruder and then pin him down. Bullmastiffs date back to the late eighteenth century. Bullmastiffs are used as watchdogs by the Diamond Society of South Africa.
