Mo is a male/red Bullmastiff, who is will 10 years old in December. He is mostly an outside dog, loves kids, people, other animals. He is intact and we are moving and not able to take him with us. He does have a fatty tumor on his back leg that has been there for years and does not affect his walking or movement, his old vet said it can be removed but we are not able to afford getting it removed. Sadly we are asking a small re homing fee to insure his well being. He is older, but otherwise generally healthy. I will send a picture upon request or interest.

Animal ID: 16-09-04-00158King (male)

Bullmastiff Mix    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered

King is a wonderful animal. He is up to date on shots and Neutered. He's great with grade-school children, teenagers, cats, people and some dogs. He lives with an American bulldog, kids, 2 cats at my daughters house. The condo board put a rule in place no dogs over 30 pounds. King weights 68 pounds so I was told he had to leave and it broke my heart. King knows all common commands. He talks to you too. He used to run with me at a track and takes walk in the park. I need someone who is calm, wonderful with animals and loves dogs. He's terrible on a leash, needs a choke chain or harness. He pulls when sees other dogs and barks or circles. he ... (Read More)does know what heel means. Sometimes he's gentle with dogs and sometimes not depending on breed. He needs to slowly meet them. You may have to pull back. He does like to be dominate. I rescued King in 2012 and he was abused, left in cages for hours by kennels. He needs a warm loving environment, a place where he can run, preferably no cage, he is potty trained if you take him out in morning and night (8-10 hours), he cannot be left unattended outside or he will run away. He needs a fenced back yard where he can run with no way to escape. Mostly a loving safe home. He loves to cuddle, he will gently take treats out of your hand, likes a comfy place to sleep. King is full of personality and can be a goofball. He plays with kickball or soccer ball. Loves toys and they last about an hour if not durable. Please help. I start treatment soon for illness and need someone to foster or adopt King ASAP. Thank you, Debby 314-303-1518 Common Commands he knows, Sit, Down, Speak, Stay, High Five, Bang Bang plays dead, get down, come King... More (Less)

King is a wonderful dog. He knows all his common commands. He is a 68 pound lap dog and needs tender loving care. A calm environment preferred. He is potty trained and can be left out of a cage with a toy and a comfy place to sleep. He hates a cage due to lengthy times being in a cage. He is a great watch dog, plays ball with a kick ball or soccer ball. Needs fenced in yard with no place to escape or not be left unattended. He will runaway. King loves toys, treats, cuddling. He resides with an American Bull Dog, cats, kids, even a teenager (LOL). He is okay with some dogs depending on breed. He will make you laugh, and he talks to you. ... Rescue Me ID: 16-04-11-00022Neo (male)

Bullmastiff    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Blind, Heartworm Positive

Neo is a handsome 4 yr old Bullmastiff that is ready to find his very own special forever family. He is a happy dog that loves people and belly rubs. Like all mastiffs, he considers himself a lap dog and will try to crawl in your lap at every opportunity. Neo is an easy, low energy dog who enjoys basking in the sun and slow walks around the neighborhood where he can sniff every tree and bush within reach. His foster Mom says that he is the easiest foster she's ever had. Neo is dog friendly and gets along very well in his multiple medium/large dog foster home. He has even learned to share his dog bed with a pesky feline. I started ... (Read More)to write here that Neo is considered special needs. See, he's almost totally blind. But that is just a footnote in Neo's book because he doesn't care or let it slow him down one bit! He loves to be right in the middle of the action and dashes to the kitchen with the rest of the dogs in case of after dinner leftovers. He is very quick to memorize his environment and moves around his Foster Mom's house and backyard like he's been there forever. If anything, his new family will have to curb his daredevil ways because he considers himself a bit of a fearless explorer! Neo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, crate trained, house trained and will need to continue his heart worm treatment in his new home. We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website ( under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you're interested in is a good match. Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a 'perfect placement' so we know that they will not be failed again. (Less)
