Bullmastiff    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Vaughn is a 1.5 yr old Bull Mastiff. He is a very sweet boy! He was left in a cage from the time he was 5 months until a month ago. The original owners would dump a bag of food over the cage and leave him for days. His water would freeze in the winter and was not replaced with new. He was neglected badly. With all of this, he is good with people- good temperament. He is still a puppy and plays well with my 4 mo old Great Dane. He needs a home and a family that will give him attention and great care!

Rescue Me ID: 15-08-11-00446Flynn (male)

Bullmastiff Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Flynn is an adorable 1.5 year old Bullmastiff-Boxer mix. He is a sweet boy with lots of puppy energy and love to give. Before he came to The Bullpen, Flynn was found roaming in a field. He was extremely malnourished and underweight, and feeling pretty bad. Although he has already gained 6lbs since leaving the shelter, he will probably always be on the small side and never weigh more than 80lbs. We are learning more and more about Flynn every day, but from what we've seen so far, he tends to be non-reactive to other dogs and would be good in a home with children over 7. Flynn is working on his leash training and house manners, and ... (Read More)already knows basic obedience. Flynn has had all his shots, is HW-, and will be neutered and microchipped before going to his forever home. For more information on Flynn, or to give him the loving forever home he deserves, please contact us at Our online application is available on our website ( under the 'work with us' tab (Less)

The Bullmastiff was first bred to track down and catch poachers. Rather than attacking, a Bullmastiff will knock down an intruder and then pin him down. Bullmastiffs are used as watchdogs by the Diamond Society of South Africa. Bullmastiffs are used for police work.
