Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/31629392 Video at petfinder link. Chili spends 22 hours a day inside a run looking out at the world and waiting for the 2 hours of freedom in the play yards if weather is good. This has been her world for almost 2 years. Chili is sponsored with a subsidized fee of $25. Chili is a big girl at 70lbs and has been fondly referred to as our 'old soul' since her arrival in March 2015. Chili was used as a money maker in her former home by being constantly bred in the first 3 years of her life. Her body clearly had nursed several litters with the last one being very recent to her arrival. This gentled spirited ... (Read More)girl is happiest when invited to 'go for a ride' . Loves to go to Dairy Queen with volunteers and will gently receive hot dogs and ice cream with a happy way of her tail. She loves her caretakers and is appreciative of attention. She does best with other dogs of medium to large build. She is rather low energy and content to be at the side of her friends without a requirement for entertainment. Chili is spayed, fully vaccinated, and negative for heartworms. She is 4 1/2 years old as of Oct 4, 2016. She has a sponsor who subsidized her fee to $25. . Rescue Me ID: 15-04-04-00347Scar (male)

Bullmastiff    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Scar is an handsome 4 year old fawn male who was adopted from ABARS two years ago. Sadly, his owner's ill health made it necessary for him to come back to us. Scar is a really sweet boy who originally came into rescue with his brother. He would likely do well in a home with a large breed female dog, and he loves children of all ages. Scar is housebroken, knows basic commands and is a pro at using a dog door. He's neutered, current on vaccinations, and heartworm preventative. Bullmastiffs are very loyal and devoted to their families. Bullmastiffs are very protective and make good guard dogs. A Bullmastiff is a good family pet and gets along well with children, but should be supervised with little ones because of its large size. Bullmastiffs need firm masters.
