Rescue Me ID: 15-06-24-00648Junior (male)

Bullmastiff    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered

Meet Junior, a devilishly handsome 5.5 year old boy. This sweet boy had a hard life before coming to Rescue. He was purchased as a pup to guard a junkyard, but after a burglar broke in and Junior didn't attack him, the owner of the yard gave him to one of his employees. Unfortunately, this fate wasn't much better. Junior was left outside in the elements year round, and when he first came to us, he was very skinny and covered in fleas. Little did he know that better days were just around the corner! Junior is very happily settling into his new life as an inside dog, and is getting all the love, attention, food, and flea preventative he ... (Read More)deserves! Junior has already mastered the doggy door, and is perfecting his leash manners and obedience training. He absolutely loves to be around people and is most content when he is spending time with his humans or getting loved on by his foster mom. We are learning more and more about Junior every day, but from what we've seen so far, we think he'd do well in a home with older children. Junior has not shown any aggression towards the other dogs at his foster home, but we're not sure about his feelings towards felines and other small furry creatures. Junior is current on all his vaccinations, HW-, neutered, and will be microchipped before he goes to his new family. Rescue Me ID: 15-05-28-00097Honey (female)

Bullmastiff    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Honey is a lovely little 5.5 year old female. Before coming to Rescue, she was used as a breeding dog by some bad people who didn't take very good care of her, but now she's ready to find a home that will love her and treat her like part of the family. Despite everything that she's been through, Honey is a very loving and trusting girl who is super sweet and affectionate and loves to spend time with people. From what we understand, she is good with kids and large dogs, but would probably do best in a home without small animals. She loves to relax in the shade outside and take naps on her bed. Honey is current on her vaccinations and ... (Read More)flea and heartworm preventative, and is also spayed, HW-, and will be microchipped before she heads to her forever home.
